This is what our guide called the 'postcard shot'. |
We had a fantastic trip to see the extraordinary Inca ruins of Machu Picchu in Perú. I (Dan) am back in Valparaíso now, while the kids and Laura embark on a bus trip to see Arequipa, Lima, and everything in between. I know they will want to write about Machu Picchu and the entire odyssey (and you'd rather hear it from them too!) so I'll leave the in-depth descriptions to them. I have a few of the more geeky aspects that I'll post later in the week as I get around to it.
Wow, and I was impressed by the cliffs of Winonna, MN this past week. It seems every week you come out with such a picture perfect photo of the family that if I didn't know you personally I would suspect they were all photo shopped. All I can say is Wow. Time to return to my more mundane life folding clothes with Rhianna who is still up at 12:35 am and is proud of doing her first load of whites.
ReplyDeleteWell, I climbed a 40-ft. tree last week:) However, nothing I've seen in northern Georgia comes close to the sight of Machu Picchu. What a terrific shot! I'm afraid life back in the U.S. is going to see pretty tame.

Wow! I agree with Megan. You look like you were perfectly placed in a photoshopped shot. I can't believe how big the kids are getting. Have they each grown a foot? Hugs to you all.
